On this day two years ago in London... Douglas Mayo ripped off everyone who participated in a production of Sweeney Todd that was to benefit Crusaid (London's sister organization to Broadway Cares). I just want to remind everyone around the world to spit on this bastard if you see him. It seems under British law he did not do anything wrong, but we all know that he is scum of the earth.

Speaking of London, after Catherine posted her thoughts about Lauren coming back from London, I got an email saying that SOUTH PACIFIC will close at NT but have a West End transfer. I have not seen it mentioned elsewhere, although I do not keep up on London theater as much.

Yahoo News: Composer Frustrated With Olympic Song

The opening of the Olympics featured a song by Linda Eder and no one on NBC mentioned it. She is frustrated about it. But probably not as frustrated as her backup singers and co-stars of her sold out concerts who are not getting paid... they just have the honor of working with her and Frank.
