To Audrey, it's Ted, but 'Seussical' still needs work by Anne Marie Welsh

While the performers took their bows to "Green Eggs and Ham" Tuesday at the close of "Seussical," Cathy Rigby, still wearing her Cat-in-the-Hat stovepipe, invited Audrey Geisel to join them on the Civic Theatre stage.
"What was missing in New York has been found," said Geisel, the 81-year-old widow of Theodor "Ted" Geisel, comparing the Broadway staging with the tour version of the musical that's in town through Sunday. "Ted likes this."

WHAT ARE THE ODDS? by Anne Marie Welsh

How could one possibly imagine that someone who actually wrote a proof, who was a math genius herself, would walk into an audition for this play called 'Proof'"?
Director Sam Woodhouse could hardly be happier that she did and that he cast her. And this "she" is not just any math wiz, but the vivacious Danica McKellar.
