Our roving, undercover spy, known only as "Teal", went to London to check out the issues raised by ALW and CM last week about the downward spiral of the West End. Here are "Teal's" conclusions:

    The English are stil allowed to bring ice cream into the theater, whereas Americans are not. However, the ice cream has changed; whereas it was once Mr. Whippy (Motto: Often licked, but never beaten!), it is now Ben & Jerry's.
