A. Alfred Taubman, principal owner of Sotheby's, was convicted of conspiring with rival Christie's to fix fees charged to auction house sellers.
Those Sotheby's bastards! Fixing prices between themselves and competitors! That never happens on Broadway! When one theatre owner raises their prices, or adds a fee, the others just don't immediately follow suit...
