BRIAN MURRAY, SEEMINGLY ALWAYS EMPLOYED, IS TOGETHER AGAIN WITH HIS MAID MARIAN IN BECKETT/ALBEE

by ELLIS NASSOUR
Hes back, and Marians got him again! The "he" would be Brian Murray, blessed by almost always being theatrically employed as actor or director; and the "Marian" is honestly, folks, isnt there only one Marian? : Marian Seldes [the almost royal Marian, a.k.a. St. Marian of the Proscenium]. The dynamic duo, who long ago became intimate friends, are onstage together again having the time of their lives [says Murray] for the first time since Albee's The Play About the Baby. The production this time around is Beckett/Albee, reviving four rarely performed one-acts by the playwrights.

BUMS AND GAL ROOMIE PREPARE FOR THE VERSE by DONALD LYONS

IT'S "Of Mice and Men," tricked out with a lot of cultural gimmickry and transplanted to England.
In "The Night Heron," by Jez Butterworth (author of the London caper play "Mojo"), two scruffy men live in a shack in the Cambridgeshire marshes and hunt rabbits for a living.
