Berlin, 1929 Marta and Greta fight to keep their cafe open. As Greta is courted, spending most of her time at jazz clubs, Marta is becoming part of a movement that aims to restore Berlin's economy and save her establishment. Swindon, 2020 Nathan, finding himself in a similar fate, rallies around a young political party hell-bent of regaining jobs for British people.
