For eleven seasons 'The Carol Burnett Show' kept America laughing with some of the cleverest and freshest sketch comedy to hit television. Some of the biggest off-the-cuff laughs came when, at the beginning of many episodes, Burnett would have the house lights turned up so she could take questions from audience members.
