The Sleeping Beauty: a lavish baroque fairytale " in pictures by Emma Froggatt

David McAllister, artistic director of the Australian Ballet, has chosen The Sleeping Beauty to debut his first choreographic work. The ballet was first performed by the company in 1973 and is well known by McAllister " he performed it 123 times over 18 years as a dancer.
