Jenifer Lewis and Marc Shaiman Preview "Black Don't Crack" and More!
Following a twenty year absence from the New York cabaret scene, Jenifer Lewis ("Hairspray," "Eubie") is teaming up with "Smash" and "Hairspray" songwriter Marc Shaiman for a new one-woman show at 54 Below, July 24-28, 2012. At a recent preview event, Lewis performed one of the new songs Shaiman wrote for her called "Black Don't Crack," along with one she wrote about her grandmother.
