Ed Mirvish Theatre "Honest" Ed Mirvish created a theatre renaissance in Toronto. Starting in 1962 when he bought and renovated the Royal Alexandra Theatre, Mr. Mirvish has made Toronto's theatre culture comparable in stature to Broadway and The West End.
