NSO In Your Neighborhood: Riverfront | Mar. 18-24, 2024 by The Kennedy Center

These areas have a rich legacy of community but have also experienced several waves of urban renewal and gentrification beginning in the 1940s. Marvin Gaye, Denyce Graves, and Thurgood Marshall all had ties to these neighborhoods.
