Letters: Bill Kenwright obituary
In the early 1960s Bill Kenwright and I were both in the National Youth Theatre. His broad Merseyside accent provided a high point during our production of Richard III. It's hard to do phonetic justice in print to his flat-vowelled news as Third Messenger that "by sudd'n fludds and fall of waters, Buckin-gum's ahhmee is dispehhhrsed 'n' scatta'd".
