Though I've been singing for decades, I've always been intrigued by instrumental music and the writers and arrangers who produce them. This is a melody that I've been working on. I've set it to photos of the fearless immigrants who passed through Ellis Island and pay tribute to my great grandmother, Mary Hackett, who made the the journey from Ireland many years ago. I'm so grateful for her courage.
