'Les Miz' beats Ahmanson box-office marks set by 'Jersey Boys' by Mike Boehm

The recent run of "Les Miserables" at the Ahmanson Theatre set new box office records for average and single-show grosses. Like "God of Carnage," which this year set a record for a non-musical play, it reflects the impact of Center Theatre Group's new "variable pricing" policy.
