'Tell Me on a Sunday' at Walnut Street Theatre: Hot-pink '80s Andrew Lloyd Webber romance that falls flat

"Tell Me on a Sunday," through June 10 at the Walnut Street Theatre's Independence Studio on 3, is an Andrew Lloyd Webber miniature musical about a young woman in search of love. In spite of pretty, talented vocalist Julia Udine, the show is vapid, with songs that sound the same and repetitive lyrics. And this 1980s search for a man seems to have exactly the wrong message for our moment. The effect is dreary.
