'Bad Dates' at Act II Playhouse: A little behind the times, but the shoes are dazzling

"Bad Dates" at Act II Playhouse in Ambler is about dating, but not dating as of 2017. That's disappointing, especially from a playwright as accomplished as Theresa Rebeck. This play about the perils of a single Manhattanite in the dating world is a little behind our communications-age, internet-dating times, despite capable actor Karen Peakes and some truly dazzling high-end heels.
