'Souvenir' at Walnut Street Theatre: Delicious, ironic view of Florence Foster Jenkins

Florence Foster Jenkins, the Philly diva who could not hold a tune, is the subject of "Souvenir," playing at the Independence Studio on 3 at the Walnut Street Theatre. Unlike the Meryl Streep movie, it restricts the focus to Jenkins and her accompanist's memories of her. It's a marvelous evocation of an outsize personality and a bustling era.
