Meet Eric Ting, Cal Shakes' visionary new artistic director
Eric Ting sets the tone for his gutsy vision of the East Bay theater company as a crucible for examining the present. Among the shows he has lined up are a re-imagined 'Much Ado About Nothing' framed by 'House of Cards' writer Kenneth Lin, an 'Othello' steeped in the politics of Islamophobia.
