"Into the Woods" Star in Negotiations to Play Mary Poppins in New Movie Musical by Andrew Gans

Emily Blunt, who played the Baker's Wife in the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's "Into the Woods," is in negotiations to play Mary Poppins in a Disney sequel to the 1964 motion picture that helped make a star of Julie Andrews, The Hollywood Reporter states.
