Laverne Cox, A.R. Gurney, Kristine Nielsen and More Celebrate the Opening of Hir by Monica Simoes

The Playwrights Horizons production of Taylor Mac's Hir  began previews Oct. 16. The new Off-Broadway play is billed as a "subversive comedy" with a cast led by Tony nominee and two-time Obie winner Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), joined by transgender teen actor Tom Phelan from the groundbreaking TV series "The Fosters."
