James Lapine, the celebrated writer and director, was honored with the "Mr. Abbott Award" for lifetime achievement on October 19. In a quirky twist, the Stage Directors & Choreogrpahers Foundation (who threw the bash) made the theme a "Broadway bar mitzvah." So throw on your kippah and click through the gallery for pics!
