City Theatre festival celebrates Young Playwrights by Sharon Eberson / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

City Theatre's annual Young Playwrights Festival will showcase six one-act plays, chosen from more than 350 contest submissions by middle school and high school writers from Western Pennsylvania, Saturday and Sunday in the Hamburg Studio, South Side. The plays feature a wide range of genres and subjects, from the Roaring '20s in Manhattan to present-day small-town Pennsylvania.
