Aerosmith, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, David Bowie Sign On for Broadway-Bound SpongeBob Musical by Robert Viagas

Perennial Nickelodeon cartoon favorite SpongeBob SquarePants has conquered TV and film, and now is getting ready for his "best day ever" — his Broadway debut. Following its engagement in Chicago, producers have announced, the musical, with a score by Aerosmith and Cyndi Lauper, among others, will open on Broadway in the 2016-17 season.
