Fun Home Welcomes Civil Rights Icon Edie Windsor

Civil rights pioneer Edie Windsor took her challenge of the Defense of Marriage Act all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court and won. On hand for a performance of Fun Home, Windsor spoke about the show based on Alison Bechdel's graphic novel about her family's experiences with her closeted gay father and her own coming out.
