Playwrights Anne Washburn and Lucas Hnath Honored with Whiting Award Grants by Olivia Clement

In its 30th anniversary of the Whiting Awards, the Whiting Foundation has awarded ten emerging writers a prize of $50,000 each. Among the artists honored with the grant were playwrights Anne Washburn (Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play) and Lucas Hnath (The Christians).
