ArtsBeat: A Return to Broadway, and a Columnist's Role, for Lithgow by Patrick Healy

John Lithgow will return to Broadway next spring to star in "The Columnist," playing the famous mid-century newspaperman Joseph Alsop in a new drama by David Auburn, who won both the Pulitzer Prize for drama and the Tony Award for best play in 2001 for "Proof."
