Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon makes directing debut in New York by Howard Sherman

Though she made her film debut at age 12 and her Broadway debut at 14, Cynthia Nixon " perhaps best known as Miranda on the TV series Sex and the City " is making her directing debut with Joel Drake Johnson's play Rasheeda Speaking for Off-Broadway's The New Group, opening on Wednesday.
