Now Mel Gibson, who has had to deal with his own share of troubles in the spotlight, has weighed in on LaBeouf in a recent interview with New York Post. He told NYP 'When I see someone like Shia LaBeouf with the bag on his head and stuff, my heart goes out to the poor guy. I think he's suffering in some way.'
