INTERVIEW: JONATHAN CROALL The theatre writer, journalist and editor talks to Aleks Sierz about his latest book, In Search of Gielgud (Herbert Adler), which tells the story of how he came to write his comprehensive biography of star actor John Gielgud (first published in 2000 and then in a revised version in 2011), and of his conflict with critic Sheridan Morley, who was writing a rival biography.
