Cylla von Tiedemann draws your eye to the simple things - which, to render in a photo, are not so simple: negative space, where the light falls (here on the faces of Michelle Monteith and Gregory Prest in Soulpepper's Of Human Bondage), the flash of colour, even how the top of the head is lit without being over lit (read: clearly artificially lit).
