Adam Shankman Developing "Madame Rose" Biopic for HBO Films by Adam Hetrick

"Hairspray" film director Adam Shankman is attached to direct and produce a new project for HBO Films based on the life of Rose Hovack — the unstoppable stage mother of Gypsy fame — to be titled "Madame Rose," according to Deadline.com.
