Epstein, Liverpool: A confusing plot, half-baked characters, flaky acting, crummy comedy, missed entrances, mediocre costumes, feeble scenery, dismal lighting, technical cock-ups - it's pretty obvious after first five minutes that this is not likely to be the fairest pantomime in the land.
