Emmy Award-nominated producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan are hoping to introduce American television audiences to a new holiday tradition with the ambitious undertaking of presenting a live telecast of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic The Sound of Music Dec. 5 on NBC.
