Newell receives Fichandler Award by Johnny Oleksinski

On Wednesday the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation named Charles Newell, artistic director of Court Theatre in Hyde Park, the recipient of the 2013 Zelda Fichandler Award. This $5000 award goes to an outstanding director who is transforming the regional arts landscape through imaginative, brave work in theater. Newell has been at the helm of Court since 1994.
