Broadway Producer Ashton Springer Dies at 82
Ashton Springer, who produced plays ranging from “No Place to Be Somebody” to the Tony-nominated “Bubbling Brown Sugar,” died of pneumonia Monday in Mamaroneck, N.Y. He was 82.
