The Verdict: Critics Review New Broadway-Aimed Musical King Kong by Adam Hetrick

The world-premiere musical King Kong, a rock-fueled spin on beauty and the beast, officially opened June 15 at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne. It has a book by Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas and features a six-meter-tall puppet desgined by Global Creatures that brings the massive silverback ape to life.
