Reviews: The Misanthrope/Arms and the Man by Mark Cofta

To director Alexander Burns' credit, both fit perfectly and are staged with all necessary dynamism. Their uneven performances, however, suggest a tentativeness with classic comedy. Both worthwhile scripts " the Moliére adapted to modern London by Martin Crimp " are well-spoken and clear, but forced.
