First of all, this is one of those "The show must go on" stories. Erick Avari, originally cast as Bunty Berman, was injured a few weeks ago. Rather than cancel the production, Ayub Khan Din, the show's author, stepped into the role. And the show indeed has gone on. It is easy to see why the choice was made. Din clearly knows the piece and his lines. But one wonders what might have happened with another choice.T…
