Annie Ross appears Tuesday nights at 9:30 at Metropolitan Room. On the Tuesday I was there, she had a broken ankle and sat in a chair during the show, but put us immediately at ease by telling this story: "I was concerned about playing with a broken ankle and Tardo Hammer, my piano player, said 'Annie, you don't sing with your ankle!'"
