"Way Back to Paradise": Michael John LaChiusa's Rarely-Seen Marie Christine Returns to NYC March 6 by Adam Hetrick

Michael John LaChiusa's Tony Award-nominated musical Marie Christine, a retelling of Medea set in late 19th-century New Orleans, begins performances March 6 at the 3LD Art & Technology Center in downtown Manhattan. The intimate production marks the first time the musical has been produced in the U.S. since its 1999 Broadway debut at Lincoln Center Theater.
