'Gypsy' Playwright Arthur Laurents Dies in NYC by Michael Kuchwara

Director, playwright and screenwriter Arthur Laurents, who wrote the stage musicals "West Side Story" and "Gypsy" and the films "Rope" and "The Way We Were," has died. He was 93.
