James DeVita is about as sincere as they come. When performing and speaking of Shakespeare he wears his heart on his sleeve. Devita revears the Bard with a ferver that nearly raises the temperature in the theatre. At the very, very least, DeVita wants us to like Shakespeare. He says as much, and doesn't tire of repeating himself. Nor do we. What DeVita doesn't say is that he wants you to like him just as much. …
