Restoration Comedy

I don't know why it is, but nearly every time I go off to see one of the Bats major productions, I am in a crappy mood. I walk in, and everyone is all enthusiastic, almost bordering on perky. I find it cloying.By this time, however, I know that what I need to do in this situation is find my seat, set my butt down, pretend I'm normal, and wait for the show to begin.
