Review: Lula del Ray (Manual Cinema)
Lula del Ray is a sad and soulful coming-of-age story of young Lula growing up in rural mid-century America who runs away to the city. Though the plotline might seem a bit trite, but the way Lula's story is told is incredibly charming and fresh: in shadow and song.
