Theater review: After a tornado, belief becomes the twister in "How the World Began."
The house lights go dark. Wind begins a low growl. Thunder claps, not in applause but in nature's, or God's, ferocious rebuke. Or so it seems. When the lights come up in "How the World Began," high school biology teacher Susan Pierce isn't in New York City anymore. She's settling into a battered school room in the Kansas town of Plainview.
