The 23rd New York Cabaret Convention, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, pays tribute to the late Donald Smith, the cabaret impresario who was the founder and executive director of The Mabel Mercer Foundation and creator of the annual convention.
