Rising Met Opera star to sing in Verdi's 'Otello'
The green-eyed monster rages Tuesday at the Metropolitan Opera's "Otello" premiere and Michael Fabiano will be collateral damage. The 28-year-old tenor from Montclair, N.J., will sing the pivotal supporting role of Cassio opposite Johan Botha and Renee Fleming, who do heavy lifting " and trilling " as teh murderous Moor and doomed Desdemona in the Verdi classic.
