Miss Saigon to the Big Screen?
Well that's the rumor that Cameron Mackintosh is starting! If the film adaptation of Les Miserables turns out to be a hit, Miss Saigon will get the big screen treatment. The musical, based on Puccini's Madame Butterfly set in 1970s Saigon during the Vietnam War, premiered in London in 1989 and on Broadway in 1991. If the musical gets the green light, what Hollywood stars should be in it? Casting: go!
