'Three Tall Women' captures darkness, light of a woman's life
Edward Albee can write realism if he chooses, but he seems just as comfortable creating allegories or plays that confirm the label that was applied to him early in his career as a practitioner of Theatre of the Absurd. In "Three Tall Women," now playing at the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre, you get bits and pieces of all of the above.
