THE SCREENING ROOM: The Lion King Performances from Around the World (Video) by Playbill Staff

On Aug. 15 the Tony Award-winning Disney musical The Lion King becames the fifth longest-running show in Broadway history. The spectacle based on the hit animated film now plays the Minskoff Theatre, but first debuted at the New Amsterdam Theatre in 1997.
